Jonno Fitzmaurice:

Your leaving to go to Beesotted FC, what is your position within their team?

Gary Thomas:

Its basically a general help out. They have guy (Dan Suh) who is doing everything so I was asked if I would like to help and also help set up the new league.

Jonno Fitzmaurice:

What was your reasoning for leaving Hey Jude FC?

Gary Thomas:

With Stedders leaving I really couldn't see it carrying on. I then realised that I couldn't give 100% to the Job I was "Offered" basically because of shift work. I was also on a bit of a "downer" due to not be involved with WorldNET at all this year, I thought I would make a fresh start.

Jonno Fitzmaurice:

Was Chairman Paul Stedman's offer of the position of Co-Manager not appealing to you, or were you in need of a new challenge?

Gary Thomas:

Stedders then came back and I stood aside for him to continue the good work he has been doing. To be honest Co-manager wasn't really the title I was given. I was going to sort out fixtures which I thought would be easy enough. Then I was told about also helping Chris out and I thought that would be a bit too much I'm afraid.

Jonno Fitzmaurice:

Have you enjoyed your time with Hey Jude?

Gary Thomas:

Yeh and DON'T THINK YOU HAVE GOT RID OF ME!!! Because I will be back!!!!

Jonno Fitzmaurice:

How is your ankle at this current time?

Gary Thomas:

11 weeks since it happened today. Had the 3rd op last week and now started slowly putting some weight back on it. (Give you an update about that soon as I'm at the hospital on Friday)

Jonno Fitzmaurice:

Now your involvement in Hey Jude and the Website will be limited, will this mean we will see a lot less of you?

Gary Thomas:

No chance! Unless you want my blood! Hopefully I won't be put on to work on Saturday Afternoons meaning I will still be shouting and singing in the old Brook road. Also I will be down at some games to give my support.

Jonno Fitzmaurice:

Are there any messages you would like to give to the staff, players and supporters of Hey Jude?

Gary Thomas:

It will be a shame to see Hey Jude die as I've been playing since the start (Millwall - Home). Wish the Back room staff are the best and again another big thank you for everyone that has supported and help me during the last "LONG" 3 months! I Will Return!
